What to know when going to Rock Mushrooms in the Table Mountains?
Where are the Rock Mushrooms located?
Rock Mushrooms are located in the southeastern Table Mountains. They stretch at the level of the lower floor of this mountain range, between Radkowskie Rocks and Batov, and exactly they can be found from the south-west side of the mount. Rock Mushrooms are called a group of originally shaped rock forms of different densities, located at an altitude of 680-700 m above sea level and scattered over a length of about 2 km. They are often placed on top of each other and have original shapes resembling mushrooms, towers, gates or clubs. Rock Mushrooms bear such names as “Rock Gate”, “Boletus”, “Bunk Mushrooms”, “Conjoined Mushrooms” and others, corresponding to how nature created them.
How much does admission to Rock Mushrooms cost?
In the case of the Skalne Mushrooms route, the price list does not apply. This means that admission to the attraction area is free. Unlike other attractions in the Stołowe Mountains National Park, such as Szczeliniec Wielki or Vicious Rocks.
Yellow Trail for Rock Mushrooms
As for the Rock Mushrooms, the yellow route is considered the most popular, it is also the easiest and shortest, and at the same time allows you to see the most interesting rock formations. It starts at the parking lot in the village of Batorów, from where you have to move along the designated path towards the point “Pod Dzikiem”, then cross the wooden bridge and continue into the forest. The yellow trail on the Rock Mushrooms due to its low degree of difficulty will be suitable for practically everyone. It will be easily passed by elderly people or novice tourists. This is also the best option for Rock Mushrooms with a child. There will be interesting rock formations on the route, such as “Rock Wall”, “Frog” or “Turtle”. How long to take Rock Mushrooms along the yellow trail? The length of the route is about 6.6 km, which translates into a passage time of about 1 h 45 minutes. Going along this trail to Rock Mushrooms, a map will not be needed. The path is well marked and it is rather difficult to get lost here.
What is worth seeing by the way when visiting Rock Mushrooms? Pilgrim is a rock located nearby, on which there is a viewpoint. To get to it, you just need to bounce from the yellow to the blue trail and after 15 minutes of walking you can admire the beautiful panorama of the Kłodzko Basin.
Red Trail for Rock Mushrooms
This variant of the Rocky Mushroom route is twice as long as the first, but allows you to see more rock formations. However, you have to leave not from Batorow, but from the parking lot next to Radkowskie Rocks. There you should follow the red trail leading deep into the forest. Despite the fact that it is not difficult, it is as long as 11 km, so you should reserve a minimum of 3.5 hours for its passage.

How to get to Rock Mushrooms? Getting by car is not complicated. The original rock formations are located within Table Mountains National Park. The entrance to the Yellow Trail can be reached by driving from the village of Szczytna towards the village of Batorów. In the Batorówek district, it is worth leaving the car while going to Skalne Grzyby. Parking is spacious and free of charge and is located right at the entrance to the trail.
In case of choosing a red option of the route, the starting point should be used for the parking lot on the Way of the Hundred Turns, on which there is also no charge for the stop.
